The swift development of effective vaccines against COVID-19 was an unprecedented scientific achievement. But production challenges, vaccine nationalism, and new variants have all presented hurdles. U.S. experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have pursued the fight against COVID-19 with Chilean experts from the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation; the Ministry of Health; and the Institute of Public Health.
